Hello Jean. Yes you’re right I guess, well observed. Being a townie (Birmingham) originally I grew up a bit ignorant of nature’s charms. I seem to be drawn to permanent structures that our ancestors once knew.
Hi Cybele – indeed all our parishes have unique identities. Each has its own separate administration which means that, even in today’s world there is loyalty to one’s home parish. I’m enjoying highlighting the best of each.
Loved the tour Roy beautiful images steeped in history and a touch of mystery. I think I have met that cow before, she looks a lot like the girls out there in the paddocks, they have such pretty faces jersey’s. Loved your background music too.
Hi Kath and thank you! Yes, Grouville has its own special character, but there again each of our twelve parishes are lovely in their own individual way. I’m enjoying the ‘twelve parishes’ project. Yes those Jersey cows get everywhere don’t they? As you’ll know the breed is highly regulated here.
