I’d heard it was closed but it’s still sad to see. It was the first of the Seymour Hotels ‘stable’ dating back to the 1920s. By all accounts it was well liked by all that stayed there.
Now I suppose I could just ask Peter Seymour but does anyone know the plan? It’s hard to shift the sinking feeling that the art deco entrance will be retained in front of another set of luxury apartments. Say it ain’t so.
